Gary Community School Corporation's board now meets monthly

Twice monthly meetings are discontinued
The Board of School Trustees for the Gary Community School Corporation announced it will only hold meetings once per month.
The policy change, announced on the district’s website, goes into effect immediately.
Monthly meetings will be held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 4:30pm, at the Gary Area Career Center. The meeting for January 22nd has been cancelled.
Upcoming school board meetings will be February 13, March 13, April 10, May 8 and June 12.
The school board’s Policy Committee meetings will be held the 1st Tuesday of each month at 4pm in the district’s administration office at West Side Leadership Academy.
