Mayor-elect Jerome Prince meets Chicago’s Mayor Lori Lightfoot

Mayor-elect of Gary Jerome Prince and Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot shared a photo at the Chicago Inn of Court meeting Thursday night, where Mayor Lightfoot was the guest speaker.

Prince was invited by Trent McCain, who will take over as Gary’s corporation counsel in 2020.

This was their first meeting. “She was very warm. We didn’t have much time to talk,” Prince said, “but Trent knows Chicago’s corporation counsel Mark Flessner. This puts our pegs in the right hole and creates a pathway to dialogue between our city and Chicago.”

Chicago Inn of Court is a legal organization whose members are lawyers, judges, and professors. Mayor Lightfoot, McCain, and Flessner are members of the organization.
