East Chicago announces Rhythm & Soul Fest and Salsa in The Park

Vendors needed for all events
Mayor Anthony Copeland kicks off the summer events with the Rhythm & Soul Fest on Saturday, June 25th at Washington Park, 1615 142nd St. East Chicago, IN featuring Al Hudson and One Way. Event hours are 4pm until 9pm.
Salsa in the Park also will be held in Washington Park on Saturday, July 30th with Jose Alberto “El Canario” from 2pm until 8pm.
Admission is free. Parking available near Block Stadium. Bring your lawn chairs. There will be food & craft vendors available.
The festivals are sponsored by: Randall Metals, Ameristar Casino & Hotel, Tradebe, BP and Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana
Steve Segura, festivals' coordinator said, "We are also looking for vendors for all our events. Please call 219-391-9482 to sign up."
