Delta Sigma Theta hosts free Thanksgiving Dinner at Ivy Tech

Community invited to fellowship at sorority's 12th annual feast
The Economic Development Committee of The Gary Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will host its’ 12th Thanksgiving Day Fellowship Dinner on Thursday, November 23, 2017, 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Ivy Tech Community College, 1440 E. 35th Avenue, Gary.
The Thanksgiving Day Fellowship Dinner affords residents of Northwest Indiana with a hot, prepared meal on Thanksgiving Day who may not be able to afford one or who may not have family or friends to fellowship with.
Tina Powell, the sorority’s secretary said, “This dinner provides our members and other businesses, churches, non-profits, and social services agencies in Northwest Indiana with an opportunity to fellowship in the spirit of Thanksgiving with community residents they serve and who support their establishments.”
