Contractor seeks bids for work on Gary's Broadway Lofts

The General Contractor BWI/Equiteam JV is seeking bids from qualified contractors to perform work on Broadway Lofts, the 3-story, approximately 40,000 sq ft multi-family building to be constructed in Gary at 7th Avenue and Broadway.

The multi-family building is intended to have 27 one-bedroom units and 11 two-bedroom units, for 38 total units. In addition to the residential units, the building will include 4,000 sq ft of commercial space and 2,000 sq ft of community space.

All bids must be sent in on the required bid form.

The Bid Packet, including the specifications and plans is available by emailing estimating@equiteamllc.com. Questions, regarding a bid packet can be emailed to estimating@equiteamllc.com, and are due no later than Wednesday, September 11th, 2019.

Bids can be submitted by email to, estimating@equiteamllc.com, or mailed to Equiteam, LLC, 215 N. College Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46202. Bids shall be submitted on forms contained in the bid package.

Bids shall be received not later than Friday, September 20th, 2019, by 3pm CST. Bids must set forth full, accurate and complete information as required by the instructions in the bid package. Failure to do so may result in rejection of a bid.

A Pre-Bid conference will be held on Wednesday, September 4th, 2019 at the ArtHouse, 411 E 5th Ave, Gary, IN 46402, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CST for the General Contractor to review the project with prospective bidders.
