J's Breakfast Club moves from Grant Street to Broadway

Much more space, same great food
In the fall of 2015, Gary, Indiana native and then Joslyn Washington opened J’s Breakfast Club at 12th & Grant St. Fast forward less than two years and Washington has since married and outgrown the space where breakfast enthusiasts gather for mouth-watering entrees like chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits.
On June 1st, Kelly will welcome the community to her new location at 3669 Broadway in Gary’s Glen Park section promising quadruple the space with the same spectacular food. The grand opening will feature free tastings of a new coffee line, giveaways, raffles and special guests.
“The support of Gary residents as well as customers from surrounding areas has allowed for this expansion,” said Kelly. “It was my goal to bring delicious cuisine to my hometown and now we will be in a space where even more people can dine in and host their meetings and special occasions.”
J’s Breakfast Club closed its operations at the 1241 Grant Street location with a festive Soul Food Sunday on May 28.
New location hours are 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
