Photos of two persons of interest caught on surveillance camera
The Lake County Metro Homicide Unit is asking for the public's help in locating individuals in connection with a homicide that occurred at 4890 Broadway at approximately 4:30 p.m., April 17th, 2019.
Gary Police responded to a call of gunshots fired and that a male subject was down in the 4800 block of Broadway.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound. A civilian had started Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on the victim. Officers requested Gary Fire Department who arrived immediately and advised that the male was deceased.
The Lake County Coroner’s Office identified the man as Darrian D. Hill, age 19, of the 4700 Block of Washington Street.
Comm. Jack Hamady of the Gary Police Dept. said the suspects fled in a silver color vehicle.
